Matthew is up bright and early, explaining that this is the only time he can get some piece from the 'terrible three'! He switches the radio on, which reminds him that Sweep had entered a song contest, sending a tape off of his own song! Matthew explains how awful Sweeps song is and that it's quite embarassing that he entered! Matthew decides to play his Alvin Stardust tape, but the tape is missing and in it's place he finds a sausage! Matthew goes to ask Sweep about the sausage and where his cassette tape is. Unfortunately Sweep has recorded over Alvin Stardust, as he used that tape to record his song on! Matthew turns on the radio, for the results of the song contest and the winner is Sweep! Sooty decides that Sweep is on his way to becoming a super star! The gang start treating Sweep like a star and Matthew soon changes his opinion of Sweeps song! Sweep goes out, but Matthew says that now he's famous he can't go out on his own! Matthew and Sooty go to find him and when they do, they try to stop a photographer from taking Sweeps picture, with Matthew ending up with a black eye! Sweep is unsure about if he wants to be famous anymore.... Matthew decides to take Sweep to the shops, to buy him a bone, but some kids recognise him and chase Sooty, Sweep and Matthew. The gang end up in a recording studio, where they meet Alvin Stardust and perform a song with him about Sweep!
